Meet your all-star implementation team
As soon as you sign your contract, we will assign a five-person team of professionals to your organization to guide you through each phase of the implementation process. Every member of this team has years of experience in his or her field of expertise, and it is their job to make sure that your work gets done, your questions get answered, and your LMS goes live just the way you want it without any hassle or stress. So without further ado, click on one of the titles below to meet your staff:
- Client Services Manager
- Project Manager
- Technical Services Manager
- Graphic Designer
- Instructional Designer
Client Services Manager
The Client Services Manager (or CSM) will be handling the largest portion of your implementation. The CSM will introduce you to the five areas of LMS concern: standards, taxonomy, configuration management, housekeeping, and governance, and will help you craft a plan to address each. Your CSM will also help you set up your organization’s LMS team, create communication and change management plans, come up with valid metrics for measuring training effectiveness and ROI, and set C-suite expectations for the project. Suffice it to say that you and your CSM will become very close!
Your certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is the glue that holds your implementation together. He or she will manage all of the stakeholders, create and update documentation, organize tasks and generally ensure that your LMS is implemented flawlessly and on-time. If you have never worked with an actual project manager before, you’re in for a real treat! Life is about to get so much easier!
Technical Services Manager
The technical services manager is the person responsible for dishing up whatever you require of that alphabet soup: API, SSO, FTP, LTI, LDAP, SAML, etc. They will also be your point person for course and data migration if you are bringing over legacy data from an old platform, and for setting up scripts for user acceptance testing. We actually have a whole nerdery full of these folks just waiting to help you out.
Colors, images, fonts… this is the fun stuff! We are going to give you your very own graphic designer to help brand your site so that it looks like your organization. Now what’s not to love about that? At the end of the implementation, you WILL have to give the designer back to us, though, so don’t get too attached.
At the end of the day, an LMS is only as good as the training you put on it. That’s why we included an experienced instructional designer on your team- to offer tips on optimizing your material. If you would like the help, our ISD will consult with you about the five steps to good training, effective e-learning course design, assessment diversity, differentiated learning, and the experiential learning cycle, among other things. There is so much more to good training than just “slide, slide, slide, question.”
